Thank you for choosing Bookster. This Terms of Service agreement is a legally binding contract between you (“User”) and Locomotive Mobile (“Company”) outlining the use of the Bookster mobile and web applications, associated services, and content.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Bookster, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable policies referenced here.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using the app immediately.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining accurate profile information, secure login credentials, and the timely reporting of suspicious activity.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to create an account. Parents or guardians remain liable for use by minors.
3. Subscription & Billing
Premium features are billed through the platform provider (App Store, Google Play, or web checkout) and renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal period.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may offer prorated credits at our sole discretion for verified service outages longer than 72 hours.
4. Acceptable Use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or otherwise exploit Bookster for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Avoid uploading harmful code, inaccurate book data with malicious intent, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
5. Intellectual Property
All visuals, brand elements, and proprietary insights within Bookster belong to Locomotive Mobile unless stated otherwise.
You retain ownership of your book logs while granting us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display them strictly for operating the app.
6. Modifications & Termination
We may update these Terms to reflect improvements, regulatory changes, or new features. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security risks for other caregivers.
7. Disclaimer & Liability
Bookster is provided “as-is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect accuracy of book search.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locomotive Mobile is not liable for indirect damages arising from app usage.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Locomotive Mobile operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes will be settled through binding arbitration or the competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless a local law requires otherwise.
